Tanya Mittal claimed that there was a Stampede at Maha Kumbh in early February. Where more than 30 people were estimated to have died, and also another crush led to more deaths. She shared videos on her Instagram handlers and told the real situation of Maha Kumbha in interviews with news channels. She spoke about how people died in front of her eyes. She said, “We were at a high point when we heard a lot of screams. I had my team with me, we decided we would try and rescue at least the children and bring them to our rooms”.
With tears she explained the situation and said “We went down and I got caught in the stampede. At one point, my breath choked. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t see or understand anything. It was impossible to get out of there”.
She managed to rescue some people and helped them get out safely near Haldiram’s store. “What I saw, I am still in shock,” she revealed, wiping her eyes.
